Course Description & Class Notes:

This session is for ELA teachers in Grades 3 - 5. 

During the professional learning sessions with English language arts teachers, we will walk through the 360Writing frameworks in the informative-explanatory genre. While we will retain emphasis on strategies for establishing structure and integrating foundational language instruction, we will place additional emphasis on walking through example activities in the framework, which again include:

• Activities that build genre vocabulary
• Activities where students apply this vocabulary (and the writer’s process) to build shorter responses
• Activities where students apply this vocabulary (and the writer’s process) to build more extended responses

Please note: Cancellations after the registration deadline will be charged the course tuition.

Out-of-RESA tuition is $85.00/person. Registration will be prioritized for Okefenokee RESA member schools.
